Dr. C. John “Jack” Miller (1928–1996) was a pastor, church planter, missionary, seminary professor, writer, and scholar — founder of World Harvest Mission (now Serge). The Jack Miller Timeline is an online reference for his life and ministry.
The Timeline is built for general readers as well as for researchers, students, and scholars — both those working directly on Jack’s life, ministry, and writings, and those working in adjacent areas where his life intersects: Presbyterian history, world missions, theological education, urban ministry, the renewal movements of the twentieth century, and others.
Contribute to the Timeline
The Timeline is built on primary sources — first-hand accounts and original documents. If you knew Jack, worked alongside him, or have letters, photos, recordings, or first-hand memories worth preserving, thank you for sharing.
What’s helpful to include: when and where something happened, anyone else present who could confirm, and any documents, photos, or recordings you’re willing to share.
